Treasury bonds are how the US – borrow money by issuing government securities, which other countries and institutions buy.

Total debt has risen from 2.6b in Q3 2008 to 4.2 in Q3 2010.

US national debt is owned predominantly by Asian economies, with China topping the league with 868 billion US$ (21%) and followed by Japan 837 billion US$ (20%). The United Kingdom is third with 448 billion (11%).

The MD 80 has the highest number of passenger fatalities with Boeing 737 (CFMI) follows closely with 1,049 fatalities. Airbus A320 comes in third with 602 fatalities.

The Boeing 777, Airbus A319 and ERJ- 145 have all recorded no fatal accidents to passengers or passenger fatalities.

Boeing 737 (NG) currently holds the highest number of operating airliners at 3,274 worldwide.

From a manufacturer perspective, Boeing has 7,346 operating airliner with 2,867 fatalities followed by Airbus with 4,921 operating airliner with 1,202 fatalities.
